Description of Duties

Setup and Operate 6 and 8 spindle acmes. Machine sizes 1" to 3-1/2". Must be able to grind tooling and have experience in supervision.

Brief description of products and services

Carbon steel and brass. Not often, but at times alloy steel. Thread rolling, tapping, recess, pickoffs on 1 -1/4 6 spindle machines.

Brief description of tool room support equipment

Grinders for forms, shaves, and drills.

Brief description of engineering support systems and staff

Engineering- One plus Current Acme Department Supervisor. Two people in QC.

Brief description of tooling materials

HSS, coatings. Winter thread heads, pickoffs on 1-1/4 6 spindle machines.
