Basic Function: Overall goal is to organize and direct assigned manufacturing plans, equipment, and tooling activities to meet production schedules within company standards for safety, quality and productivity.
Essential Functions:
Determine most efficient method to produce parts to customer drawings.
Gather data for analysis of manufacturing performance.
Devise new methods of tooling.
Evaluate product design and recommend design changes to improve manufacturing and increase part quality.
Assist in problem solving in areas of quality and production.
Contact potential customers and acquire technical information regarding product needs.
Evaluate information obtained from customer to determine best course of action regarding production of product.
Prepare follow-up reports and make recommendations for improvements when necessary.

Manth-Brownell, Inc. is a family-owned contract manufacturing business located just outside of Syracuse, NY. The company was started by Mr. Vern Brownell in the early 1950’s, in a garage just across the street from the company’s current location. In the late 1950’s, Mr. Brownell merged with Mr. Burton Manth of Trex Screw Products to form Manth Brownell. In 1962 they sold the company to the Skinner family, who still owns the company today.
