Description of Duties: Run CNC machinery to produce parts to customer specifications within company standards for safety, quality and productivity.
Brief description of products and services: Manth Brownell operates in 2 bldgs. totaling 135,000 sq. ft. & more than 175 pieces of equipment in operation. Our mix of machines allows us to satisfy all our customer’s needs, from short runs to multi-million piece orders, out of a variety of materials.
Brief description of tool room support equipment: Multiple spindle automatic screw machines such as Euroturns, Gildemeisters, Wickmans and Davenports.
Brief description of engineering support systems and staff: CNC equipment including Swiss-type Citizens, Nakamura-Tome, Hyundai-Kia and Haas.
Brief description of tooling materials: H.S.S and C2

Comments: Manth-Brownell, Inc. is a family-owned contract manufacturing business located just outside of Syracuse, NY. The company was started by Mr. Vern Brownell in the early 1950’s, in a garage just across the street from the company’s current location. In the late 1950’s, Mr. Brownell merged with Mr. Burton Manth of Trex Screw Products to form Manth Brownell. In 1962 they sold the company to the Skinner family, who still owns the company today.
