Description of Duties
Set up, operate and maintain Davenport machines to produce manufactured product that meets the quality requirements.
Brief description of products and services
Preferred brand for spring pins, grooved pins, dowel pins and barbed pins.
Brief description of tool room support equipment
Select proper tooling to perform specific jobs assigned. Must know how to sharpen tools, trouble shoot machines, set speeds and feeds for proper materials and do minor repairs as needed.
Brief description of engineering support systems and staff
Work with Engineering and R&D departments to assist in the development of prototype parts, implementation of new tooling and development of machining processes.
Brief description of tooling materials
Responsible for the daily lubrication, cleaning out machines and chip removal for assigned machines.
