Position Open: Operator
Other Job: Tramec Sloan, LLC. is currently seeking EXPERIENCED full-time Set-Up / Operators at our Galion, Ohio facility. Machines include Acme, CNC, Davenport, Hydromat, Kingsbury & Trunnion. Over 9 million pounds of Brass is processed at our facility each year for the fittings we forge and machine.
Shift: third
Description of Duties: • Operates single or multiple spindle lathe type SM equipped with automatic indexing and feeding mechanisms to machine metal bar stock. • Use of standard dimensional inspection gages (depth, height, ring, thread, snap, calipers, micrometers, etc.) .
Brief description of products and services: Over 9 Million lbs of Brass is Processed in Galion, OH each Year for the Fittings We Forge and Machine Here. Hose Assemblies are also Made Here Using the Fittings Made Just Feet Away!
Brief description of tool room support equipment: Tool Room support- grinding/sharpening/troubleshooting/ Maintaining Tool inventory.
Brief description of engineering support systems and staff: Engineering- Develop and maintain Prints/Tool Design/Layout sheets
Brief description of tooling materials: Tooling materials- drills, step drills, reamers, taps, thread rolls, recess, DT form tools, hollow mills, Chasers
